The Rochdale Canal is a popular place for some great coarse fishing. Come along, find a quiet spot and land a healthy roach, tench, bream, chub or perch?

To fish on the Rochdale Canal you will need a valid Environment Agency rod license.

20 miles of the canal between Sowerby Bridge and Castleton is leased to an angling club so along with the rod license membership or day tickets will be required for those sections.
