 Discover the history of the Rochdale Canal

Sunday 1 September 2.30pm and

Thursday 5 September 10.30am

“A History of the Rochdale Canal” – an easy walk along the canal towpath led by Diana Monahan, from Hebble End, Hebden Bridge to Fallingroyd Tunnel.  Distance about 1.5 miles, time about 1.5 hours.

Return to the starting point by bus or walk back with Diana along an alternative easy route. Meet at the Alternative Technology Centre, Hebble End, Hebden Bridge HX7 6HJ where there is a café.
